Job Description
You’re a curious, hands-on problem solver who wants to build (or pivot) your career at the intersection of automation, analytics, and delivery governance—working with a modern technology stack and real stakeholders. Join the Automation Lab Central Hub Team in CF/TCIO CDO and help scale automation safely and efficiently in our hub-and-spoke Citizen Developer model, with a single intake/portfolio view and clear decision rights.
As a Data Governance Analyst within CF/TCIO CDO, you will help run the “engine room” of our automation program: managing intake and triage, maintaining a transparent portfolio, coordinating delivery paths, and ensuring our work is standardized, controlled, and auditable. The Central Hub provides cross-domain coordination and owns key controls, platform/stack enablement, and coaching/code review - while Citizen Developers deliver smaller in-domain automations within guardrails. !
You will partner closely with business stakeholders, domain Citizen Developers, technology teams, control partners, and governance forums (including the Efficiency Council, which owns prioritization, capacity, and decision rights) to progress automation work end-to-end – especially where work crosses domains or has higher risk / platform dependencies.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage intake and triage for automation requests, ensuring submissions are complete, clearly defined, and ready to be actioned in a single work management and portfolio view.
- Maintain portfolio hygiene by keeping statuses, ownership, dependencies, and timelines current to enable transparent reporting and reliable decision-making.
- Prepare prioritization and capacity inputs for governance decision forums, including impact, complexity, dependencies, risk considerations, and effort estimates, and track decisions through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery across business, data, product, and technology teams to progress work end-to-end and resolve cross-domain dependencies.
- Route work through the appropriate delivery path based on ownership, risk, cross-domain impact, and platform or technology dependencies, and document the rationale.
- Own delivery standards, templates, and ways of working, promoting reusable patterns and consistent documentation across domains.
- Enable domain developers through light coaching, structured review loops, and clear escalation paths, and escalate higher-risk or cross-domain work to the Central Hub.
- Coordinate control activities including registration, release readiness, and monitoring requirements to support safe, standard, and auditable delivery.
- Track execution progress, remove blockers, monitor aged items, and escalate risks and delays to domain leads and Central Hub leadership as needed.
- Produce governance materials and program reporting, including portfolio views, status updates, metrics, and documented exceptions with clear rationale.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in finance, business, data analytics, information systems, engineering, risk, or a related field.
- Practical experience using analytics and/or automation tools (for example: data visualization tools, workflow automation tools, scripting languages, collaboration sites, work management tools, and spreadsheet analysis).
- Demonstrated execution discipline, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive workflows to closure, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort coordinating across business and technology stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, structured problem-solving skills, and sound judgment on when and how to escalate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with work management or ticketing tools (for example, Jira) and maintaining transparent backlogs and portfolios.
- Familiarity with data governance, control frameworks, operational risk concepts, or audit-ready documentation practices.
- Exposure to platform enablement concepts and an understanding that some delivery paths require dedicated technology execution and support.
- Understanding of treasury or finance domains (for example, regulatory reporting, liquidity, capital, or interest rate risk) and the ability to translate business needs into structured delivery work.
- Experience working in cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholder groups.
