As an Associate within the Fraud Strategy Team, you will be in charge of designing and validating fraud strategies, capabilities, and processes among them partnering with Product, Technology and Operations. Your job will require a deep understanding of the business, data analysis to understand root causes, and the use of analytics to design and implement solutions. You will play a pivotal post in promoting end-to-end solutions that mitigate risk while balancing the minimization of revenue loss, operating costs, and customer impacts.
Job responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance Fraud strategy to drive the intended tradeoff between fraud mitigation, financial performance, customer experience, and operational effectiveness
- Regularly monitor fraud trends and customer frictions to recognise chances to strengthen fraud strategy performance
- Make use of internal and external data sources and advanced analytic tools to drive accurate fraud detection
- Partner with product, technology, and operations to build new capabilities for better detection and treatment by helping design solutions, create criteria and test before and after implementations
- Collaborate closely with broader fraud strategy team and other cross functional teams to use best practice and secure control and compliance
- Stay on top of the industry trends and adopt industry best practices
- Drive concise and effective oral and written communications with internal and external partners at different levels
Required qualifications, capabilities, and abilities:
- MS degree and 2+ years (or BS degree and 4+ years) of background in risk management/data analytics. Relevant fraud experience preferred
- Outstanding collaboration and partnership abilities with proven track record in working well with internal teams and external partners
- Capacity to think strategically to come up with a vison for areas of responsibility, create roadmaps and drive execution to balance short-term vs long-term solutions
- Sound analytical thought leadership with the capacity to draw on AI and machine learning to drive effective and innovative solutions
- Sound process management and project management capabilities with the aptitude to drive capability development. Product management experience is a plus
- Sound communication capabilities with the aptitude to communicate productively and strategically to senior leaders and main stakeholders
