Job title: Engineer – IT Services

Diploma, BSc in Computer Science or relevant field.

Minimum 2 Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ø Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
Ø Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
Ø Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
Ø Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
Ø Conduct remote troubleshooting
Ø Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
Ø Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
Ø Record technical issues and solutions in logs
Ø Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Ø Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
Ø Report customer feedback and potential product requests
Ø Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
Ø Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ø Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ø Help create technical documentation and manuals
Skills Required:
Ø Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role
Ø Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
Ø Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like UPS, printers, scanners, Modem, network switches etc.
Ø Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
Ø Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
Ø Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
Ø Customer-oriented attitude
