Roles and Responsibilities:
The incumbent would be responsible for:
The Credit Manager will be responsible for underwriting, monitoring, and managing credit exposures to NBFCs within the EFI vertical. The role requires strong analytical capability, a sound understanding of regulatory norms, and the ability to independently handle credit assessments and portfolio reviews.
· Strong understanding of Ind AS standards relevant to NBFC financial reporting.
· Ability to analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and key performance indicators of NBFCs.
· Up-to-date knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs. Credit assessment & execution
· Ability to prepare high-quality credit appraisal notes and support the end-to-end underwriting process with minimal supervision.
· Experience in portfolio tracking, identifying early-warning signals, and preparing periodic review reports.
Skills Required:
· Strong communication and presentation skills are suitable for internal committee discussions.
· Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams for processing proposals and completing due diligence.
· Good interpersonal skills and capability to work collaboratively in a small, agile credit team.
· Travel requirement
· Willingness to travel across India for due diligence and customer meetings (typically once or twice a month).
