Position purpose:

Build User Interfaces for web, mobile, and other devices.

Integrate application front end with application business layer / API connectors.

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, reliability, and security.

Job Responsibilities:

Build & deliver new features in complex digital product(s) in an agile development process.

Install, configure, and sustain libraries required for application development.

Keep abreast of the latest trends / technologies in UI Development Frameworks.

Collaborate with Backend Developers to make sure smooth functioning of the software.

Put debug tools in place to quickly

evaluate

bottlenecks.

Work with teams on Test Driven Development methods.

Create reusable frontend components to reduce TAT in delivery of new qualifications.

Efficiently implement concepts of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

Understand and integrate available APIs/RESTful microservices/others from the enterprise repository.

Implement secure coding practices to pass vulnerability and related assessments.

Contribute to Low Level Design Documents for UI Development Section.

Design Unit Test Cases for standalone UI testing.

Build Reusable

artifacts

/toolkits.

Execute Peer Reviews and identify code vulnerabilities/areas of improvement.

Understand cross-browser compatibility issues and implement workarounds.

Work comfortably in an agile development organization with an established

DevSecOps

process.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors

degree in Computer Science, IT or related area.

Key Capabilities:

Master in UX guidelines and key design principles.

Technical expertise in building digital product(s) and browser-based debugging.

Master in HTML5.0, CSS, JavaScript.

Expert in front-end programming languages & frameworks of React, Material UI.

Experience in responsive and adaptive design and integration with APIs.

Knowledge of performance testing tools/

softwares

.

Knowledge of OWASP Guidelines and vulnerabilities.

Bonus: experience/exposure in building mobile apps (hybrid and/or native).

Experience Required:

11-14 years of experience

10+ years of experience as a front-end developer.

3+ years of experience as a front-end developer for an engineering group within fast-paced sprint cycles.

Major Stakeholders:

Internal: QA Function Group members, Engineering Leads, Product Owner, Business domain experts, IT audit, BTG Unit group members.

External: Partners, prospective suppliers.
