Job Purpose

To execute maintenance of mechanical equipments of Kiln to obtain optimum availability of kiln and Preheater for budgeted production of clinker with optimum utilization of available resources.
To ensure adherence to quality and environmental management system at Hirmi.
To execute Mechanical maintenance of all equipment in process lab Along with Sectional Job
Carryout modification / up-gradation jobs for continuous improvement of plant productivity & cost.

Qualification:
BE Mechanical / Engineering Diploma

Experience in Years:
3 to 7 Years

Required Skills:
Coal mill O&M (Mechanical knowledge – VRM, bag house, rollers, gearbox, hydraulics)

Job Description of Position Incumbent

1. Ensure safe and reliable operation of the VRM coal mill.
2. Maintain mechanical systems such as rollers, grinding table, gearbox, hydraulics, and lubrication systems.
3. Monitor mill condition (vibration, temperature, wear) and prevent breakdowns.
4. Coordination with Process, E&I, and other department engineers to attend operational issues and ensure smooth running of the plant.
5. Identify equipment abnormalities and operational issues and attend them with available resources.
6. Ensure work is executed as per SOPs / SMPs / checklists for shift maintenance activities.
7. Plan and execute shutdown jobs (roller change, hardfacing, liner replacement).
8. 100% implementation of systems such as QMS, EMS, OHSAS, and WCM.
9. 100% implementation of PM checks (Digi check), notifications, and PM orders.
10. Maintain spares, documentation, and MIS reports.
