Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Fund Management & Liquidity Planning

  • Manage daily treasury operations and optimize utilization of funds across the organization.
  • Monitor cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet business requirements.
  • Drive efficient deployment of surplus funds while minimizing financing costs.
  • Support working capital management initiatives across the business.

Cash Flow Forecasting & Management

  • Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor actual cash flows against projections and highlight variances.
  • Coordinate with business and finance teams to assess funding requirements and cash utilization plans.
  • Ensure availability of funds for operational, expansion, and strategic business needs.

Banking Relationship Management

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Coordinate with bankers for credit facilities, fund transfers, banking services, and treasury-related activities.
  • Facilitate opening, modification, and closure of banking arrangements as required.
  • Negotiate banking terms and charges to enhance operational efficiency.

Borrowings & Debt Management

  • Manage working capital loans, term loans, and other borrowing instruments.
  • Coordinate with lenders regarding renewals, repayments, drawdowns, and covenant compliance.
  • Evaluate funding options and support debt optimization strategies.
  • Track interest costs and ensure timely servicing of debt obligations.

Treasury Documentation & Compliance

  • Manage all treasury-related agreements, sanction letters, banking documentation, and security creation requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents and information requested by financial institutions.
  • Maintain repository of banking agreements and treasury records.

RBI & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and regulations applicable to treasury operations.
  • Coordinate documentation related to banking regulations, borrowings, and financial arrangements.
  • Support internal and external audits pertaining to treasury and banking activities.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary controls.

Reporting & Controls

  • Prepare treasury MIS, fund utilization reports, borrowing summaries, and cash position reports for management.
  • Establish treasury controls and governance processes to minimize financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning.
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, consumer business, or large-scale corporate organizations preferred.
