Job Purpose
Set strategic direction for enterprise-wide model risk and AI governance while driving cultural transformation and innovation. Provide executive leadership in shaping organizational approach to model risk and AI governance while managing C-suite relationships and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Model Risk Governance
Set strategic direction for model risk and AI governance; Lead Model Risk Management Committee and AI/ML Council; Oversee model risk policy framework and AI governance strategy; Ensure regulatory compliance and manage senior stakeholder relationships; Governance & Policy; Drive standardization initiatives and oversee policy development; Lead regulatory relationships and ensure adherence to governance frameworks; Develop and implement AI governance strategies; Team & Project Management; Lead team of professionals and manage performance; Drive career development programs and oversee strategic projects; Implement systems and drive automation initiatives; Risk Management; Oversee model risk assessments and AI risk management; Manage validation frameworks and emerging risks; Lead risk reporting to the Board and develop risk metrics; Innovation & Development; Drive governance innovation and lead research initiatives; Develop strategic partnerships and drive industry engagement; Lead thought leadership and awareness programs.
Education:
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Science, or MBA in Finance.
Certifications:
AI/ML certifications preferred, leadership/management certifications valued.
Key Competencies
Strategic leadership, model risk management, AI/ML governance, stakeholder management, project portfolio management.

C-suite executives, regulatory bodies, cross-functional teams.
