Position Description

• TF&L is looking for jobseekers with more than 5 - 8 years of proficiency in German language to support its Lending Deal Management team based in Luxembourg.
• The person will primarily be accountable for the capture of covenants for newly executed deals and subsequent amendments as well as the ongoing monitoring of covenants throughout the lifecycle of the loan over different regions, such as Luxembourg and the United States. The job would suit an individual who has worked in a large team and has been involved on the credit side or documentation.  We are looking for a person who has good product understanding and business understanding and will need constant coordination with a range of stakeholders in a challenging, fast-paced environment, where the team and individual can make significant contribution for the global Corporate Bank - Trade Finance and Lending Business.

Your key responsibilities

• We are looking to hire a qualified professional with business/finance-based academic background to join the Syndicated Lending team within the Global Trade Finance & Lending division in the Corporate Bank. The team works on a global lending portfolio throughout countries.

  The core responsibilities will be:

• Review LMA and LSTA governed facility agreements and capture covenant obligations for newly executed deals within the internal covenant management system.
• Monitor covenant compliance throughout the lifecycle of the loan, among them the processing of subsequent changes such as amendments, extensions, waivers, and other contractual modifications.
• Support covenant monitoring activities throughout multiple regions, covering Luxembourg and the United States.
• Prepare periodic management dashboards highlighting overdue covenant deliverables and outstanding documentation.
• Undertake monthly reconciliations of newly executed deals to guarantee completeness and accuracy of covenant records.
• Support audit-related requests and deliver relevant covenant data and documentation.
• Keep up and update process documentation and workflows to guarantee alignment with current operating procedures.

Your competencies and experience

Technical Experience:

• 5 - 8 years of track record in understanding loan agreements, i.e. familiarity with legal language, LMA standards etc. preferred
• Very solid proofreading competencies of legal credit documents, professional negotiation abilities.
• Understanding and experience collaborating with loan, collateral, and limit reservations platforms
• Profound MS Office experience.

Your Qualification

• Finance Graduate or Post-Graduate (preferably MBA)
• Language competencies:
  • 5 - 8 years of proficiency in German language (Minimum certification requirement: B2)
  • First-rate level required in English (speaking/reading/writing/listening)
