Role Description
The Business Finance function is responsible for the production of business level revenue attribution, financial accounting and financial disclosures for Financing produccts like Loans, Bonds and it’s hedges such as Rates Swaps, Loan Insurance and TRS. It ensures, on a daily basis, the accurate and timely reporting of Profit and Loss (PnL) for each business unit and ensures that the drivers behind the risk positions and PnL are fully understood and explained. It also ensures that all of the Bank’s transactions and positions are correctly reflected in the Bank’s PnL and Balance Sheet and disclosures, in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

Your key responsibilities
Responsible for supporting daily PL: and monthly Financial Control activity with understanding of trade booking through physical and cash settlement and the corresponding financials. Timely & accurate reporting of Ledger by taking manual journals, following robust control framework like FOBO, MAFA, Balance Sheet Substantiation and Balance sheet review.

Education:
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
