Preparation and execution Turbine assembly shop plan – monthly.To monitor work progress by PDCA method and finalize the job handover dates to packing shopTo arrange skill-based manpower and necessary machine, positioners to reach targeted LE & OE and TQM parameters and plan to reach the parameters mainly hydro test, mandrel, clearance setting, Module measurements.To make sure no waiting time by availability of shop resources: tooling, fixtures, measurement instruments, machinesTo check the shop record sheets and check sheets filled by workmen and supervisorTo make sure effective implementation of IMS management systemsDoing project delay evaluation: plan vs actual, finding reasons for delays using PDCA method.Doing brainstorming with Manufacturing and QC section for process improvement and control.Delivering suggestions to design dept for design related improvements to reduce cycle time.Doing assembly of Turbine & generator parts as per Overhauling site group requirementDoing assembly scope of work in refurbishment work as per the scope of Purchase Order.To reach the EHS objective by controlling unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and periodic reviews of HIRA.Controlling usage/shop disposal of hazardous waste like oil-soaked cotton, plastic, chemical cans, paint drumsAchieving the target of Safety by enhancing 5S score and SPI- Safety Performance Index at shop floor & office.
