Job Criteria About the Position
The Relationship Manager – Current Account is in charge of running a portfolio of customers to secure superior service delivery and drive cross-selling of banking products. The post concentrates on establishing CASA (Current Account Savings Account) balances, acquiring new client organisations, and enhancing product penetration per customer. It also involves handling routine banking transactions, overseeing branch deliverables, and securing compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive CASA value develop-up and acquire new clients as per branch targets.
- Ensure effective customer engagement to facilitate cross-selling of banking products.
- Increase product holding per customer within the assigned portfolio.
- Profile all engaged clients and present suitable banking solutions.
- Promote digital onboarding and usage of services such as Mobile/Net Banking, Bill Pay, SIPs, Insurance, Investments, Retail and SME Loans.
- Meet monthly operating plans to upgrade scorecard performance and decile rankings.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to close business loans, working capital expectations, POS, CMS, and trade transactions generated through client organisation engagement.
- Guarantee quick resolution of customer queries and complaints to meet Net Promoter Score (NPS) benchmarks.
- Act as custodian of the branch vault, handling vault limits, cash, and non-cash transactions.
- Ensure zero instances of cash shortage or excess at the teller counter.
- Regularly update main registers and review branch reports such as EOD cash position, LTR, and instruments issued.
- Monitor and reconcile dummy accounts, suspense accounts, deferred accounts, and accounts payable/receivable as per required formats.
- Secure strict adherence to bank policies and compliance standards.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Provide best-in-class customer service to become the primary banker for clients.

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Postgraduate in any field (preferred).
Experience
- Prior track record in branch banking or customer relationship roles is preferred.
