Job DescriptionEngineer / Sr. Engineer &ndash; EHS (Environment, Health &amp; Safety)QualificationBachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) &ndash; MandatoryDiploma / Certification in Industrial Safety / Construction Safety from a recognized institute preferredExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience inEnvironment, Health &amp; Safety (EHS) inconstruction projects, preferablyhigh-rise residential or commercial building projectsJob LocationProject SiteRole OverviewThe Engineer / Sr. Engineer &ndash; EHS will be responsible formonitoring daily safety practices at the construction site and ensuring compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations. The role involves identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely.The position will work closely withproject execution teams, subcontractors, and safety supervisors to promote a strong safety culture across the project.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Safety MonitoringMonitor dailyconstruction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.Ensure safe execution ofstructural works, formwork operations, reinforcement works, finishing works, and MEP installations.Conduct routinesite safety inspections and hazard identification.Hazard Identification &amp; Risk ControlIdentifyunsafe conditions and potential safety risks at work fronts.Ensure implementation ofJob Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and safe work procedures.Recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and unsafe practices.Safety ComplianceEnsure workers and subcontractors followsite safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.Monitor compliance withstatutory safety regulations and company safety guidelines.Assist in ensuring safe use ofequipment, machinery, scaffolding, and lifting operations.Safety Training &amp; AwarenessConducttoolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and site staff.Participate in organizingsafety training programs and awareness campaigns.Promote safety awareness across all project activities.Incident Reporting &amp; InvestigationReportaccidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the EHS Manager.Assist inincident investigations and preparation of safety reports.Ensure implementation ofcorrective and preventive actions.Contractor Safety MonitoringMonitor safety practices ofsubcontractors and labour teams.Ensure contractors comply withsite safety requirements and safety procedures.Participate incontractor safety meetings and site safety reviews.Documentation &amp; ReportingMaintain records ofsite safety inspections, toolbox talks, incident reports, and safety observations.Preparedaily and weekly safety reports.Assist in maintainingstatutory safety documentation and compliance records.Technical Skills RequiredGood knowledge ofconstruction safety standards and regulationsExperience inhazard identification and safety inspectionsFamiliarity withrisk assessment and incident investigation procedures</str
