Job Requirements Role/ Job Title: Operations Head - IBU, GIFT CITY
Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Operations
Job Purpose: 'The role bearer has to ensure and sustain superior operations and service delivery across all products offered in the IBU in line with market demand. He/she will be involved in day-to-day activities related to processing of Customer requests, reconciliations and participate in Branch Internal and statutory audit process, to provide timely support to business stake holders and to manage their expectation which should be in tandem with client expectation. The role bearer is a seasoned and experienced wholesale banking operations specialist to monitor, control and execute the process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall management of IBU Branch operations involving Trade Finance, General Banking Operations, Capital Market Operations for IBU, including any other new products offered in the future.
- Responsible for overall control of the operational activities including Operations Teams at DTA for Trade Credits, ECBs, LC/BG, and other products offered from time to time, and act as the SPOC for other IFSCA/FEMA related queries/issues.
- Ensure adherence of all IBU activities as per the defined SOPs/Framework/Plans.
- Responsible for ensuring quick turn-around time and error-free processing of transactions.
- Manage branch operations staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Responsible for monitoring the Customer Complaints and handling overall escalations and undertaking steps towards Analysis of Root Cause and ensuring non-Recurrence.
- Ensure periodical Reporting / MIS to the Central Office to ensure Onward Submission within Timelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely MIS and internal reporting.
- Drive operational excellence, including technology automation, process simplification and analytics projects.
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure cost saves.
- Be engaged with IBUs and operational best practices across to ensure robust operational processes.
- Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have multi-tasking ability.
- Should have operational skills to operationalize new products/processes in line with market practice.
- Aptitude to constantly upgrade knowledge and skills in line with the updates in industry/peer banks.
- Manage Branch operations productivity.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)
Experience: 10 - 18 years of relevant experience.
