Job Needs Job/ Job Title: Network Engineering Lead
Function/ Department: Information Technology.
Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility will be running the 24x7 DC/DR/NDR network, Pan India, Network Support & Operations. You will work closely with the teams from Network Projects, EUS leads, NOC and other cross-functional teams who are overseeing systems and applications, to drive effectiveness and improvements in supporting/running the business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Should analyse, design, implement and sustain the networks F5 and Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer infrastructure.
- Should inspect data packets and TCP, IP flow in network and application flow.
- should possess a working know-how of switches, routers, and firewall concepts.
- Should be able to configure and keep up F5 and Citrix Load Balancers, load balancing best practices.
- Should also take the responsibility to upgrade network operating systems software and hardware as per the management needs.
- Must see to it that the plans are integrated productively with the other aspects of the technical infrastructure.
- Extensive understanding of Load balancing technology covering algorithms and health check options.
- Grasp and experience regarding F5 BIG-IP LTM VIP configuration with health check.
- Understanding and experience with F5 BIG-IP GTM Wide IP configuration.
- F5 BIG-IP iRule programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Extensive know-how of Citrix NetScaler VIP configuration with health check.
- Grasp and experience with Citrix NetScaler Global Load Balancing (Gslb) configuration.
- Applicant Must have extensive experience working in structured change management, Problem and Incident processes.
- Jobseeker Must have production environment experience consisting of Global load balancing, Local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression / caching, and DNS.
- Person Must have solid Networking Experience - TCP / IP, Administration of networking hardware.
- Jobseeker Must have design and maintenance experience with multi-layered Web hosting network architectures.
- Experience directly overseeing routers, switches, load balancers and SSL accelerators in a high-availability infrastructure is required.
- Expert understanding of TCP as it pertains to packet inspection and network / application flows.
- Expert aptitude to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for system changes, as needed, to resolve issues.
- must have integration / configuration / administration experience and possess a solid Network background among them an understanding of switch, network routing, and firewall concepts.
- The Load Balancing Engineer must possess very solid troubleshooting competencies as well as a sound TCP understanding as it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application flows.
- The Load Balancing Engineer must have a very good understanding of DNS functionality and concepts as it relates to IPv4 and IPv6.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (Routing / Switching)
- Design and implement Load balancing rules using industry best practices.
- Communicate network architecture designs clearly and efficiently to technical and non-technical decision makers
- Execute security hardening of network systems.
- Shape or contribute to technical documentation such as Low Level design documentation, Technical Implementation document, deployment/establish plans, and test plans.
- Deploy designed solution within a testing environment to verify compliance with security and functional criteria.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) /Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Experience: 10-18 years.
