SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role)

The Team Member – Planning supports project planning and monitoring activities at site. The role assists in preparation of schedules, progress tracking, reporting and coordination with execution teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

Financial / Functional Perspective

? Support cost control through schedule adherence 
? Assist in reducing delays and associated costs 
? Improve productivity through effective planning support 
? Support cash flow tracking through milestone monitoring

Customer Perspective

? Support timely project delivery commitments 
? Provide accurate progress data for reporting 
? Enhance stakeholder confidence through reliable schedules 
? Support client and statutory reviews

Internal Process Perspective

? Assist in preparation of project schedules and bar charts 
? Track daily and weekly progress at site 
? Update schedules and analyze variances 
? Support preparation of recovery plans 
? Coordinate with construction, MEP and procurement teams 
? Prepare MIS reports and dashboards 
? Maintain planning documentation and records

  • Ability to understand and utilize advanced software in use across process/ project lifecycle to effectively carry out the functional responsibilities and improve usage and adoption of such tools (existing and new) across teams, aiding with enhanced project planning and execution
  • Ability to understand project/package requirements and create baseline project schedules using relevant tools (such as Gantt charts, Critical Path Method (CPM), and PERT charts, Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.) based on agreed milestones, historical data, constraints, resource productivity, and availability of resources in order to plan and track project tasks and milestones, and identify dependencies
  • Ability to apply knowledge of agreed project plan and timelines to analyze, assess, address and notify delay events (including delay in certification of RA Bills and escalation) to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner and prepare and submit the Extension Of Time (EOT) application in accordance with standard protocols (SCL, AACE etc.) and contractual obligations to minimize disruptions
  • Ability to capture and interpret data to identify trends and actionable insights on bottlenecks and inefficiencies and guide decision-making by using relevant analytical tools and visualizing data to prepare detailed update reports and dashboards on key KPIs
  • Ability to utilize knowledge of database management systems, business intelligence tools, data analytics, and reporting frameworks to design and implement efficient MIS processes, ensuring accurate data integration, real-time reporting, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, monitor organizational performance, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ability to utilize digital planning modules or software platforms to create, track, and update project schedules, resource plans, and progress data, enabling integrated and data-driven project management.
