Job Description

  1. Cost Management
    1. Facilitate cost monitoring and control
    2. Budgetary Control – Operation & Maintenance Cost, Interest and Manpower

 

  1. Financing & Working Capital Management
    1. Ensure interest cost are maintained below level as decided yearly
    2. Ensure borrowing levels within the budget.
    3. Compliance & Controls
      1. Comply with procedures and financial policies ensuring financial discipline.
      2. Ensure that all transactions are recorded, consolidated, reported in compliance with prescribed accounting standards and policies.
      3. Ensure robust Internal Control system and processes
      4. 100% compliance with statutory requirements of excise, VAT, service tax, TDS, etc. & new regulations like GST, New Companies Act, IND AS, ICFR, ICDS, etc. for the plant.
      5. Review financial transactions/reports in line with the policies.
      6. Adherence to organizational procedure issued by management.
      7. Ensure zero noncompliance during various statutory/internal audits.

  1. Financial Accounting
    1. Ensure robust finance and general accounting systems and processes in plant to monitor performance.
    2. Conduct and/or support execution of financial and process audits.

 

  1. Treasury
    1. Monitor timely availability of funds and adhere to F&A SLAs

 

  1. MIS & Analytics
    1. Support decision through timely updated financial MIS, costing and budgets.
    2. Build Financial models for business forecasting & sensitivity analysis, business alerts

 

  1. Strategy & Decision Support
    1. Facilitate Strategy support to management in order to smoothen operations especially in the Fuel Supply Chain Management and Support in legal issues

 

  1. Secretarial and Board Meetings
    1. Facilitate communication on financial matters to the Board.
