We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the job of Senior Consultant Specialist 

 In this post, you will:

•    Hands on senior developer – who can demonstrate coding, providing daily to production
•    Architect, Design and Establish core services using Java (25), Spring Boot 4,PostgreSQL (or any RDBMS), and event streaming patterns using Apache Spark/Beam. where appropriate with Yunikorn.
•    Understand the architecture for high-performance data pipelines and microservices, covering non-functional criteria (resilience, scalability, latency, observability, security). •    Establish engineering excellence for API design, event-driven integration, data modelling, testing strategy, CI/CD and operational readiness. Oversee technical debt with clear prioritization and measurable outcomes.
•    Partners with engineers in code reviews, pair debugging, performance tuning, and production incident resolution.  Establish automation for engineering streamlining (scripting, tooling, testing, Unit, Regression, Functional).
•    Cloud, data & platform engineering (GCP): Dataflow, Pub/Sub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, BigQuery (and/or ClickHouse), and GKE.  
•    Own operational excellence for production workloads: monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, reliability improvements, and cost optimization.  Guarantee data quality, integrity, lineage and security controls over pipelines and downstream consumption.
•    People leadership & stakeholder management: Coach and mentor engineers spanning levels; develop a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement. Communicate successfully with senior stakeholders—translating business outcomes into technical plans and delivery milestones. Proactively run risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments with clear mitigation and escalation paths.

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following expectations:

•    Must have a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
•    Must have hands-on experience with cloud technologies and a sound technical background, with proficiency in at least one Spark-related language: Python, or Spark SQL.
•    Must have advanced SQL capabilities, covering data modelling, cloud storage mechanisms, and file formats such as Parquet and Iceberg.•    Must demonstrate experience of trunk-based development and deploying daily to production
•    Must have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers
•    Understanding and track record in development of end to end dev-ops pipeline for auto testing, regression and deployments
•    Should have understanding of Accounting or Ledger.
