Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to provide technical support to employees and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, networking, and user-access-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and standard business applications.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365, MS Office, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID activities.
• Handle IT incidents and service requests through IT ticketing/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or similar platforms.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate with vendors for repairs and warranty support.
• Install software, drivers, security updates, patches, and antivirus applications.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, device allocation records, and support documentation.
• Follow up on open tickets and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLA.
• Escalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 infrastructure or application teams.
• Follow company IT policies, security standards, and standard operating procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of Desktop/Laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and MS Office.
• Good understanding of Outlook and Teams.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Basic networking knowledge – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
• Experience with ITSM / Helpdesk ticketing tools.
• Knowledge of remote-support tools.
• Basic understanding of IT asset management and ITIL processes.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or CCNA will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Helpdesk, or End-User Computing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer/end-user handling skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to work from the office and support users on-site.
• Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and meet SLA requirements.
