Job Description: Digital Twin Coordinator (EPC Projects)
Role Overview
We are hiring a Digital Twin Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and management of digital information across large engineering and construction projects.
This role focuses on managing project data, coordinating with teams, tracking progress, and ensuring proper digital documentation, rather than deep technical modeling or engineering design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordination of Digital Twin Activities
- Support implementation of digital twin initiatives across project lifecycle (design to construction)
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure required data is captured and updated
- Ensure project information is organized and available in digital formats
2. Data & Document Management
- Manage project documents, models, and related data in a structured environment (SharePoint, CDE, etc.)
- Ensure proper version control, approvals, and document tracking
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of project information
3. Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress using available digital systems and dashboards
- Prepare regular project reports and summaries for management
- Support visualization of project status (progress, delays, key issues)
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a single point of contact between IT/digital teams and project teams
- Facilitate communication and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Support digital adoption by guiding teams on tools and processes
5. Process & Compliance Support
- Ensure adherence to project processes, standards, and data management practices
- Support implementation of company digital policies and BIM/data standards
- Assist in audits and reviews related to project documentation
6. Handover & Documentation
- Ensure all project data and documents are complete and ready at project closure
- Support preparation of final digital deliverables (as-built documentation)
- Maintain proper records for future use and reference
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science / IT
- MCA / MSc IT / BCA
- 3–8 years of experience in:
- Project coordination / PMO / document management / IT systems
- Working with enterprise tools (SharePoint, dashboards, reporting tools)
- Experience in EPC / construction projects is an advantage
- Basic understanding of:
- Data handling and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Project workflows and coordination processes
Preferred Skills
- Experience in:
- Project tracking and reporting
- Document management systems
- Working in cross-functional projects
- Good knowledge of:
- Digital platforms used in projects
- Basic understanding of BIM/Digital Twin concepts (good to have, not mandatory)
