Job Description
Axis Bank is hiring a Branch Relationship Officer to join the Branch Banking team. The branches act as the face of Axis Bank for millions of retail customers and are an integral part of the Bank's strategy, playing a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank (NTB) customers and driving the Bank's customer engagement strategy across products and services.
About the Role
As part of the branch banking team, Branch Relationship Officers (BROs) are responsible for providing financial solutions to customers by offering the bank's products, servicing existing and new-to-bank customers at the branch, and adding new customers through referral generation activities and customer visits. BROs use their communication skills to add new customers and cross-sell bank products, and engage daily with existing customers mapped to their portfolio to offer additional products as per customer needs. BROs are expected to process customer transactions and service requests within defined turnaround time (TAT), may also be posted as a teller for cash transaction processing, and introduce customers to alternate banking channels such as Internet Banking, mobile banking, and WhatsApp banking.

Key Responsibilities
- Offering solutions and cross-selling the bank's retail banking and third-party products as per assigned budgets (e.g. life insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, loans, etc.).
- Achieving business budgets assigned by the organization on a monthly basis consistently.
- Generating referrals and leads of new customers for sale of the bank's products.
- Promoting the bank's products through marketing activities and customer visits outside the branch.
- Contacting existing customers to bring in more deposits and cross-sell the bank's products.
- Timely and accurate processing of customer transactions and requests.
- Handling customer queries and providing correct solutions to ensure there are no customer complaints.
- Following all compliance guidelines (regulatory and legislative) for each activity released from time to time.
- Ensuring all audit requirements of the bank are met with optimum audit rating.
- Completing all mandatory certifications required for the role (EUIN, SP Certification, etc.).
- Daily entry of customer interactions in the bank's CRM system.
- Participating in and following all initiatives, campaigns, and drives undertaken by the bank from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduation / Post-Graduation from a recognized institute.
- Experience: 2 - 4 years.

- Knowledge of banking regulations and norms.
- High level of knowledge of banking products and services.
- Good communication (both verbal and written) skills in English and the local language.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good networking and relationship-building skills.
