About the Role
The Sales Manager – Credit Cards (Corporate Channel) is responsible for driving acquisition of credit card customers through corporate relationships and employer tie‑ups. The role focuses on sourcing high‑quality customers from corporate salary accounts, professionals and institutional partnerships, while ensuring strong activation, usage and portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive acquisition of credit cards through corporate salary account relationships, employer tie‑ups and institutional associations.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sourcing targets in line with defined corporate channel goals.
• Leverage existing corporate relationships to source pre‑approved and eligible customers
• Build and manage strong working relationships with corporate HR teams, finance departments and key decision‑makers.
• Coordinate with branch corporate teams, CMS teams and relationship managers to maximise sourcing opportunities.
• Support card sourcing camps, onsite engagements and employee outreach programmes at corporate locations.
• Ensure sourcing adheres strictly to credit policies, income norms and corporate eligibility criteria.
• Drive timely card activation and early usage through structured follow‑ups and engagement.
• Monitor portfolio indicators and minimise early delinquency and attrition.
• Promote suitable card variants, benefits and lifestyle offers relevant to corporate employees and professionals.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or upgrade card propositions based on customer profile and eligibility.
• Work closely with product and marketing teams on corporate channel campaigns.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation, onboarding and KYC compliance as per Bank and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain sourcing quality and ethical selling standards at all times.
• Support audits, reviews and internal controls related to corporate channel sourcing.
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• Graduation /Post Graduate degree
Role Proficiencies:
• 3 - 8 years of experience in banking sales, credit cards or affluent customer acquisition
• Prior exposure to high‑net‑worth or premium customer segments preferred
• Experience working with branches and relationship managers
• Strong relationship‑based selling skills
• Good understanding of credit card products and affluent propositions
• Ability to work with targets while maintaining quality discipline
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
