You won’t just observe how a global bank operates – you'll help power it. In Technology and Operations, you sit at the heart of how we deliver for our clients each day. You’ll work on live processes, support real transactions and help ensure our clients’ needs are met accurately, effectively, and safely.

Throughout the programme, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of meaningful work and contribute to real client and business priorities
  • Build your commercial awareness and understanding of global markets and businesses
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by working with data and complex information
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams, functions and markets
  • Strengthen your communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Gain exposure to senior leaders and thought-leadership sessions

By the end of the year, you’ll have built practical skills, gained experience of working in a global business and developed a clearer understanding of where a career in Corporate & Investment Banking could take you.

Bring the skills - we’ll help you build your career

We welcome students from all degree disciplines and backgrounds, recognising that diverse perspectives drive innovation.

We’re looking for people who can:

  • Take ownership and demonstrate initiative.
  • Think critically and solve problems in a structured way.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to new challenges, seeking opportunities to grow and develop
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with others
  • Communicate confidently and collaborate across different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate commercial curiosity and an interest in global markets, industries and clients.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and international environment.

For technical roles, we particularly value backgrounds in Finance & Banking, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this apprenticeship programme, you need to have graduated from college in 2026.
