Shall have worked at power/energy projects in the area of Quality Assurance / Control / QA/QC/ Inspection/Testing of mechanical works, including equipment,
structural fabrications,
piping, valves, static & rotary equipment's
(Boiler Feed Pump, Condensate Extraction Pump, ACC, Heat Exchanger, etc.
Work profile is as below:
Implement Contract Quality Assurance activities during the execution of Project.
Review and approval of Vendor QAP's / ITP's, manufacturing & testing procedures.
Execute new vendor assessment and obtain approval from Clients.
Inspect procured materials and equipment as per approved procedures and QAPs.
Witness inspections and testing as identified in the vendor's inspection and test plans.
Make sure that the welding works are carried out as per the approved WPS/PQR and welders are approved.
Verify the calibration status of monitoring and measuring devices.
Review radiographs and NDE reports.
Review NDE summary sheets in line with weld maps.
Issue NCRs to vendors for work not performed in line with project qualifications. Preparation or review of RCA & CAPA.
Making sure equipment and machinery affecting product quality are maintained.
Escalating any issues that may affect product quality.
Reporting the progress/testing on a monthly basis.
Review supplier quality documentation as per standards and specifications.
Issue Inspection Release Reports/Note
Inspection co-ordination with client, vendors, TPIA & other stakeholders
Shall be minimum NDT Level II in MT, PT, RT, UT
Shall have knowledge on ASME Sec I, II, V, VIII & IX, ASTM,API, AWS, IS, IBR.
