Job Purpose
Supervise and manage WBO branch operations to ensure smooth, error-free functioning and compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities
Clearing Operations:
Manage inward/outward clearing within cut-off timings; ensure no counter returns or exceptions. Conduct technical verification of cheques and monitor CTS vendor outsourcing.
Nostro Account and Suspense Accounts Monitoring:
Reconcile Nostro accounts daily; monitor suspense accounts fortnightly and ensure safe custody of cheques.
CMS Operations:
Oversee verification, authorization, and dispatch activities; address operational gaps.
Remittances:
Issue instruments like demand drafts; maintain stationery stock and proper records.
Transfer Cheques, RTGS/NEFT:
Process transfer cheques on priority; ensure customer requests are processed within TAT.
Depository Operations:
Verify and authorize delivery instructions; follow DRF, pledge, and hypothecation processes.
Retail Liability Operations:
Manage account opening forms; ensure KYC/AML compliance and monitor MIS reports.
Retail Asset Job Description:
Implement processes, policies, and audit guidelines; resolve queries and complaints promptly.
Trade Finance Operations:
Support digital initiatives; adhere to RBI guidelines and process transactions within TAT.
Housekeeping/General Upkeep/Facility Management:
Maintain premises, registers, and security documents; generate and act on reports.
System Security:
Prevent password sharing and ensure proper handover processes.
Voucher Management:
Manage vouchers and records; archive approval mails and ensure periodic binding.
Vendor Management:
Appoint and scrutinize vendors; ensure uninterrupted services and review agreements.
Management of Clearing Funds and Internal Control:
Establish mechanisms to prevent frauds/errors; raise discrepancies and update documents.
Education:
Graduate in any discipline.
Certifications:
Banking Product & Process Knowledge, Planning and Organizing Skills, Communication.
