Job Description & Summary 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant with hands-on exposure to implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Solution Manager environments. The ideal person will have expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), ChaRM, Monitoring, ITSM, Test Management, and SAP landscape administration. The position requires close collaboration with SAP Basis, Functional, Development, and Infrastructure teams to secure efficient SAP operations and governance. 

 

 

*Responsibilities: 

• Configure, administer, and support SAP Solution Manager (7.2) landscapes. 

• Implement and keep up Change Request Management (ChaRM) processes. 

• Oversee Solution Documentation, Business Process Documentation, and Process Management. 

• Configure and support IT Service Management (ITSM) and Service Desk functionalities. 

• Implement and monitor Technical Monitoring, System Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, and End User Experience Monitoring. 

• Support Test Suite, Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defect Management activities. 

• Execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as Workload Analysis, Exception Analysis, and Trace Analysis. 

• Run Focused Develop, Release Management, and Transport Management processes. 

• Liaise with SAP Basis teams for system setup, diagnostics agents, managed system configuration, and SolMan upgrades. 

• Ensure SAP best practices and compliance standards are followed throughout SAP landscapes. 

• Troubleshoot SolMan-related issues and deliver timely resolution. 

• Support integration with SAP Cloud ALM and other monitoring tools where applicable. 

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and grasp transfer materials. 

 

*Mandatory Skill Sets: SAP SolMan, S4 HANA, E2E implementation 

 

*Preferred Skill Sets:  

• Background in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects. 

• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM. 

• Experience with Focused Observations and SAP Focused Run. 

• Grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies within SAP environments. 

 

Years of Experience Required: 2-7 years of experience 

 

Education Qualification: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 

• 2-7 years of relevant SAP Solution Manager experience. 

• SAP Solution Manager certification is preferred. 

• Experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments.
